Can’t Set Default Printer” Problem

Baru-baru ini PC kat ofis ada problem....tak boleh nak "set printer as default"....disebabkan PC tersebut link dengan instrument makanyer semua jadi haru-biru....apa2 pun tak boleh....nak tengok data pun tak boleh.....hampir tiga hari jugaklah dok mencari penyelesaian....Aku dan colleague dah buntu... end up call engineer....ingatkan masalah ini berkaitan dengan software instrument.....

Rupa-rupanyer bukan masalah software instrument tu....huhu....3 days gone.....

Step 1:   Type “regedit” followed by the enter key in the “search program and files” text box in the pop up menu that appears after clicking the Windows“start button” in the lower left hand corner of the Windows desktop screen.

Step 2: Click “HKEY_CURRENT_USER” in the left hand pane of the Windows registry editor.

Step 3: Then click “Software” followed by “Microsoft” and next “Windows NT”.

Step 4: While under the “Windows NT” entry, click “CurrentVersion” and then “Windows”.

Step 5: Now, one of the entries you should see in the right hand pane is“Device”. If the value for “Device” as noted under the “Data” area is anything other than the printer you are using, then highlight “Device” in the right hand pane with the mouse and press the delete key to remove it. If not able to delete the device, You should change the permissions. Go to "File" then "Permissions" then check the "allow". 

Step 6: Restart the computer so it starts with the altered Windows system registry.

Alhamdulillah...masalah settle dalam beberapa minit jer....nak buek camno...tak berapa celik IT....rupa2nyer dalam Mr Google pun ada....so lain kali kalau ada aper2 masalah....tanye jer Mr Google...bukan Mr Google  lah tapi Prof Google...hehe....
